Flying With Young Kids

In May, my family and I flew down to Florida to visit my grandma for a week. What an adventure that was! Although I don't have much to share with in terms of destination knowledge, I sure did learn a lot about traveling with two young kids. My son is three and daughter is nine months. We flew out of Detroit and into Orlando on Southwest Airlines. I loved the direct flight even though we had a two and a half hour drive down to Stuart, Fl. When we got into Orlando, we rented a minivan through Advantage.

If you are traveling with kids anytime soon, come and talk to me. I learned a lot about traveling with little ones! From packing everything (including a booster seat, tent, and two beds) and going through the airport with tons of stuff to the actual traveling for long periods of time, I have lots of tips to share. I also discovered that Southwest is wonderful to fly on and Advantage really is an ok car rental company...

I look forward to talking to you soon!
Andrea
